Sergio Fermariello's exhibition at Flora Bigai Arte Contemporanea is the most up-to-date research of the Italian artist.

In this exhibition unreleased artworks are on display, characterized by the use of different materials, such as jute, corten steel, and marble paste. All the materials are linked to the repetition of the warrior, which is considered the main subject in each of Fermariello's artworks.

Indeed, Fermariello's works are marked by the repetion of the same gesture, which creates a sort of recalling of an ancient writing.

The artist always wants to go back to the origins, to go back where we have already been and recognize the force of human necessity, the so-called "Ananke".
